Johnny Doo - 294m Par 4
The opening drive is a long up hill shot. The longer hitter will hope to make the brow of the hill, but most will have to settle for a position on the slop leaving a short blind second with a bunker to the right hand side of the green.

Monument - 130m Par 3
A well guarded green with three bunkers to the front, and a bank of rough to the left and club selection is all important as over played shots will put you into the rough behind the green.

Chain Road - 366m Par 4
The longest hole on the course and is usually played against the breeze. A good drive just to the left of centre opens up the green but leaves the 2nd shot a little difficult with 5 bunkers guarding the green.

Magazine - 277 Par 4
A difficult hole due to the obstacles on the course, the old clubhouse and sheds. Play to the right and you are in the rough, more room on the left but the best line is straight. Not the hole to slice on.

Rockies - 215m Par 3
Definitely one of the most difficult par 3's in Scotland. The elevated tee, gorse banking and a knowe that obscures half of the green makes this an extremely difficult shot.

Cuniger - 137m Par 3
A wide but narrow elevated green with a gorse banking surrounding the back of the green requires an accurate shot with a short iron. Miss the green here and you are left with a tricky chip.

Valley - 174m Par 3
The seventh green is like a smaller version of the first with a 30ft hill and rough to the left and an awkward green to hit. Club selection can be difficult, therefore take one more than you think.

East Neuk - 297m Par 4
Pretty much a straight forward hole with the only danger the three bunkers at the green and the field running parallel to the left. A good drive just right of centre leaves a short pitch to a flat green.
East Neuk

9th The Hynd - 217m Par 3
The final tee plays down towards the first tee and clubhouse. At first sight it would seem a straight forward shot but with the back end of the green only 1 yard from the garden wall leaves an awkward shot if over played.

The Hynd

The course is a sand soil construction of 75% poa annoh annual meadow grass, 5% bent grass and agrostis tenuous 20% fescue sub species commutata.
