We are very proud of any of our Members who gain golfing success outwith AGC, especially when it comes to our Juniors.
We will be posting any Junior achievements at other courses/competitions as the season goes on....
Fresh from their adventures at The Belfry and the Faldo Futures finals, Erin and Jack made their way over to Gullane at the weekend for the Wee Wonders Grand Finals.
Both played in tough sections against some very good Juniors and looking at the final leaderboards there was some great golf on show in each section.
Jack finished 15th in the Boys 9-10yr section which was a step up for him in age group. He did really well against players who have been in the section for longer, with his Sunday round improving on his Saturday position.
Jack will now look ahead to the US Kids British Championship in October at Hensol in Wales.
In the Girls 9-10yr section, Erin had 2 really good days and played excellent golf. She finished in 3rd place just 8 shots behind the winner who shot a 3 under par over the 2 days. With her 3rd place finish she gets a place in next years Grand Finals.
Well done to both Jack & Erin, a big week completed with some fantastic memories made

Jack, Erin and Paige had a great time at The Belfry taking part in the Faldo Futures Finals.
They were up against the best of the UK Juniors for their sections and all put in excellent performances.
Jack finished 10th of 47 in the Boys 7-8yr section, just 4 shots behind the winner.
Erin was 11th of 32 in the Girls 9-10 section and also just 4 shots back.
Paige was 20th in the highly competitive Girls 7-8yr section.

Jack G and Erin D have both qualified again for the UK Finals of The Wee Wonders which is to be played at Gullane on 29th and 30th August.
A busy week for both of them as they also have their UK Finals of The Faldo Futures at The Belfry that week on 26th August along with Paige W.

On Monday 6th July, Ella took part in the Elie Junior Open.
At age 12 she only went and won the U18 Girls title!!

On Saturday 27th June, 8 of our Juniors who had qualified for the Faldo Futures Regional Final at Crieff played some amazing golf and every one of them excelled.
3 of them however have qualified for the UK Grand Final at The Belfry which will be hosted by Sir NIck Faldo!
Erin D won the Girls 9-10 age group
Paige W was runner up in the Girls 7-8 age group
Jack G won the Boys 7-8 age group.
Team AGC rocking it at Junior level once again, making everyone proud!

Erin D took part in the Girls 10yr old section of the US Kids European Championship at Royal Musselburgh between the 26 and 28th of May.
She only went and finished 3rd while also finishing as the top GB player in her section !

On Wednesday 18th March we had 4 of our Juniors take part in the St Leonards School National Championship held over various courses in St Andrews.
On Balgove we had Lukas M, Erin D and Jack G, while over on the Strathtyrum course we had Ewan S.
We are delighted to report that we had a couple of winners
1st place under 9's - Jack G
1st place under 12's Erin D
Lukas played fantastically well and was very unlucky just to miss out on the prizes as the final results were so close.
